08/02- Michael Lovanyak, 56, Toms River was placed under arrest following a traffic stop for operating a motor vehicle during a period of suspension.  He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a glass pipe containing CDS was located inside of the vehicle. Criminal Mischief:  A Traffic cone was reported to be thrown into a window causing it to break in the area of Shrewsbury Ave on 08/02/18.

Theft:  A parked vehicle whose windows were slightly open was reported to be broken into in the area of W Bergen Pl on 08/17/18. Items missing from the vehicle are a Black Wallet containing $7.00 cash, bank cards and a driver’s license, Insurance card, $100.00 cash from the console and a pack of Newport Cigarettes. Ptl. FAIR HAVEN: VIDEO LEADS TO ARREST

Fair Haven police arrested a Keansburg man on car-burglary charges after a surveillance video caught him trying to sell a stolen item, borough police Chief Joe McGovern reported Monday.

Milo Rainey, 39, is suspected of having entered three vehicles in the area of Harding and Harvard roads on the night of July 9 and 10, McGovern said in a press release.
