Eleven sacks, three blocked punts one returned for a touchdown and a YouTube video packed with other pigskin exploits have made a Red Bank Regional defensive end one of the most heavily recruited student athletes hereabouts.
Garrett Sickels, a six-foot-four, 230-pounder, has been racking up invitations to visit numerous colleges and universities across the country, aided by a highlight reel of his sophomore-year exploits.

The Sickels family mailbox is often stuffed with thick packages addressed to the player, says his father, Red Bank Administrator Stanley Sickels.
Interest has come from the University of Tennessee, the University of Florida, Stanford and Rutgers, among a growing list of others, according to various scouting-related websites.
The latest video, by Get Recruited Films, was posted on YouTube last Friday.
