A 23-year-old Rumson man was in Monmouth County lockup Monday on an attempted murder charge for stabbing a man at a party in Keansburg Keyport early Sunday morning, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Timothy Glassco Jr., of Avenue of Two Rivers, was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, the Press reports, citing a news release by Keansburg Deputy Police Chief Michael Pigot.

The stabbing was reported at 2:55 a.m. Sunday and the victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, Pigott said.
The man, found in the yard of the home, had several stab wounds to the torso which required surgery, Pigott said. Police administered first aid until the Keansburg Fire Department EMS and paramedics arrived, the release said. The victim, who was not identified, was taken by State Police helicopter to the hospital.
Glassco remained in the Monmouth County jail in Freehold Township Monday in lieu of $350,000 bail with no option to pay 10 percent for release. Police did not provide a photograph of the suspect.
