LITTLE SILVER: TWO ARRESTED FOR DWI

call-in-the-authoritiesApril 1– A resident from Manson Pl. reported Fraud after he discovered some fraudulent charges on his credit card after vacationing out of the country. Sgt. Martin Scherzinger and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

April 2– Morgan Karalewich, 23, of Shrewsbury, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Oceanport Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Oceanport Municipal Court. P.O. Peter Giblin made the arrest.

April 3– Jonathan Billups, 48, of Middletown, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for an active Non-Support warrant out of the Ocean County SheriffÂ’s Department. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

April 5– Jarrod Ross 2nd, 22, of Oceanport, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on White Rd. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Oceanport Municipal Court. P.O. Peter Giblin made the arrest.

April 5– A resident from Paag Ln. reported Harassment after receiving several unwelcome text messages to her cell phone by an unknown subject(s). P.O. Peter Giblin investigated.

April 6– A male juvenile, 15, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a noise complaint on Manson Pl. for Possession of Alcohol Underage. P.O. Peter Giblin made the arrest.

April 7– A resident from Silverside Ave. reported Criminal Mischief to his residence after discovering that an unknown subject(s) damaged his front door. Sgt. Martin Scherzinger investigated.

April 8– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering his cell phone and ipod were stolen. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

April 9– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering that some of her personal belongings had been stolen sometime throughout the day. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

April 12– Whitney McDonough, 32, of Ocean, NJ, was arrested on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Fair Haven Municipal Court. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

April 12– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Harassment after receiving several harassing phone calls to her cell phone by an unknown subject(s). P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

April 13– A female juvenile, 17, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested on Rumson Rd. for Taking A Vehicle Without OwnerÂ’s Consent. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

April 13– Gerilynn Lucia, 47, of Monmouth Beach, NJ, was arrested on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court. P.O. Michael Lahey made the arrest.

April 17– Jonathan Merklinger, 29, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Silverside Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

April 18– Kimberly McGrady, 28, of Seaside Heights, NJ, was arrested following an investigation on Prospect Ave. for Theft of Prescription Blanks. Det. Greg Oliva made the arrest. [Update, February 28, 2023: Court records show that Monmouth County Superior Court disposed of this case on November 6, 2014.]

April 19– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) stole her cell phone. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

April 20– A resident from Winfield Dr. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) stole her wallet while she was shopping at Sickles Market. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

April 28– Andrew Eastwood, 24, of Rumson, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Lisa Ct. for Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

April 28– Herbert Hernandez, 34, of Highlands, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Myrtle Ave. for Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

April 29– A resident from North Lovett Ave. reported Theft after discovering an unknown subject(s) stole cash from inside his home. P.O. Eric Van Schaack and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

April 29– Emilio Fernandez, 24, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following an incident on Grant Pl. for Criminal Mischief. P.O. Peter Giblin made the arrest.

April 30– John Pierce III, 40, of Union Beach, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Seven Bridges Rd. for an active Non-Support warrant out of the Monmouth County SheriffÂ’s Department. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

April 30– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Harassment after being harassed by known acquaintances on a social media website. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.
