Stored in a parking lot beside the Shrewsbury River, cabana decks from the Sands Beach Club in Sea Bright – not to mention the crisp autumn air – signaled the inexorable march toward winter Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, the Green is in for a somewhat overcast week, culminating in possibly heavy rain on Thursday, before turning sunny again Saturday and Sunday. (Photos by John T. Ward. Click to enlarge)
