I’m curious about edibles and gummies. What would I need to know as a first timer?

Edibles and gummies are a common way to experience cannabis, especially for those new to it. Here at Canopy Crossroad, we believe in providing education and guidance to help you make informed choices. As a first-timer, here are a few things to keep in mind about edibles and gummies:

  • Start Low and Slow: Edibles can take longer to kick in than smoking or vaping, so it’s important to be patient. Begin with a low dose, and wait at least an hour to feel the effects before consuming more. You can always increase the dosage gradually as needed, but remember that everyone’s metabolism is different.
  • Choose the Right Product: Our Canna Coaches are here to guide you in selecting the perfect gummy or edible for your needs. We offer various formulations with different ratios of cannabinoids like THC, CBD, and CBN. For a more relaxing and sleep-promoting effect, you might consider an edible with a higher ratio of CBN, which has calming properties.
  • Consider Your Tolerance: If you’re new to cannabis, it’s best to err on the side of caution. Cutting a 5mg or 10mg gummy in half is a common way to achieve a half dose. Pay attention to how your body responds and adjust accordingly next time. Our Canna Coaches are well-versed in helping you understand dosage and can answer any questions you have.
  • Enjoy Responsibly: Remember that edibles can have long-lasting effects. Be sure to consume them in a safe and comfortable environment where you can relax and enjoy the experience. And, as always, never drive or operate machinery while under the influence of cannabis.

At Canopy Crossroad, we’re committed to creating a positive and empowering experience for our customers. We want you to feel comfortable exploring the world of cannabis, and our Canna Coaches are here to provide the information and support you need every step of the way.
