A Middletown man accused of viciously stabbing a shopper at a Bed Bath and Beyond store in the township three years ago was recaptured after he escaped from a Mercer County mental institution over the weekend, NJ.com reported.

February 5– A Credit Card Fraud was reported by a victim on Prospect Ave. after a customer discovered fraudulent purchases made on their account. P.O. Amanda Arnold and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.
February 7– Eric Beechwood, 31, of Dorchester, NJ, was arrested on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Wall Township Municipal Court. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.
