A now-former city worker in Asbury Park was charged with drunken driving following an accident on Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright Saturday night.
Ruben Trejo Jr. of Hazlet was driving a city-owned SUV at the time of the accident, which involved three other cars and sent three people to a hospital. All were treated and released.
Trejo, an employee in Asbury Park’s engineering department for less than a year, quit his job Tuesday, a city official told the Asbury Park Press, which has the story.
