The case will be tried beginning at 8:30a on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Municipal court is normally scheduled for just one morning a week, a Thursday.

Ansorge faces a DWI charge arising from an April, 2006 accident on East Front Street. The vehicle she was driving struck Robert Lisowsky, a 59-year-old plumber at Riverview Medical Center. He died several days later from his injuries.

Last April, a Monmouth County Grand Jury declined to indict Ansorge on criminal charges, and the case was returned to municipal court.

The prosecution contends evidence analyzed by the State Police lab shows Ansorge had a blood-alcohol level at the intoxication level of .08 percent shortly after the accident. The defense, however, says a separate analysis conducted by private lab shows Ansorge was below the legal threshold.

Ansorge is the publisher of Red Bank Red Hot magazine and owns Ansorge Unlimited, an advertising agency.
