A summer storm that barreled through the area set off a handful of security alarms in Red Bank Sunday afternoon and had some volunteer firefighters running from one scene to another in the downpour.

According to Fire Chief Noel Blackwood, all the alarms turned out to be false, as did a report of a lightning strike and fire at 21 East Front Street, seen above.
