Entries from the desk log at the Red Bank Police Department for the week of January 23 to 30. Entries are published here unedited.

Armed Robbery occurring 1-23-09 at Tilton Ave. and West Bergen Place. Victim reported that while making a delivery an unknown black male approached him asked questions and when victim turned to get inside of vehicle, the suspect stuck a pointed object in victimÂ’s back, demanding money. Taken was wallet with cash. Suspect described as black male, wearing green hooded jacket riding a mountain bike. Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Theft occurring on 1-24-09 at Bridge Ave. residence. Victim reported that her purse was stolen from living room while at the residence. Black purse contained cash, checks and a Sony Digital Camera. Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Shoplifting incident occurring on 1-28-09 at Water St. Unknown white female, approx. 5’6”, blonde hair shoplifted several items and left without paying for same. Ptl. George Travostino.

Theft occurring 1-28-09 at Riverview Plaza. Victim reported that her handbag was stolen and it contained I.D., credit cards, etc. Ptl. Robert Campanella

Richard Atkins, a male age 41 from Red Bank was arrested on 1-29-09 in the area of Leighton Ave. for Simple Assault by Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.

Michael Maxted, age 22 male from Red Bank was arrested on 1-30-09 in the area of W. Front St. for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. George Travostino.

Kiera J. Woych, female age 33 from Brooklyn, NY was arrested on 1-27-09 in the area of Monmouth St. For Bad Checks by Ptl. Michael Campanella.

Paul L. Summey, age 24 male from Tinton Falls was arrested on 1-27-09 in the area of Leighton Ave. for Poss. of CDS Marijuana by Ptl. Paul Perez.

Daniel Ramirez male age 28 from Red Bank was arrested on 1-27-09 in the area of Washington St. for Hindering Apprehension and Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Jorge Torres.

Christopher A. Brock, age 34 male from W. Keansburg was arrested on 1-25-09 in the area of Monmouth St. for DWI and Disorderly Conduct by Capt. Darren McConnell.

Abel Merino-Diaz, age 23 male from Red Bank was arrested on 1-26-09 in the area of Montgomery Terrace for Unlawful Poss. of Weapons and Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Gregg Pelletier age 38 from Sayreville was arrested on 1-24-09 in the area of W. Front St. for DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Benito Cruz, age 22 male from Red Bank was arrested on 1-23-09 in the area of Leighton Ave. for Simple Assault by Ptl. David Hicks.
