COUNCIL CANDIDATE: DuPONT
Today, redbankgreen kicks off a series of unedited audio interviews with each of the four candidates for two seats on the Red Bank Council up for grabs in the November 3 election.
Working off the same basic set of questions, we asked the candidates about taxes, development, the recently ratified police contract and their favorite places for takeout, among other topics.
We’re running interviews in alphabetical order, so incumbent Mike DuPont, a Democrat now winding up his first three-year term, is up first. We spoke to him over breakfast earlier this month at the In Between CafĂ© on English Plaza. The photo above was taken outside his home on South Street.
Over the next three days, we’ll post interviews with Rob Lombardi, a Republican; Democratic incumbent Art Murphy; and Republican Kim Senkeleski.
