Today, redbankgreen brings you the second in a series of unedited audio interviews with each of the four candidates for two seats on the Red Bank Council up for grabs in the November 3 election.

Working off the same basic set of questions, we asked the candidates about taxes, development, the recently ratified police contract and their favorite places for takeout, among other topics.

We’re running interviews in alphabetical order. On Monday, we featured incumbent Mike DuPont, a Democrat now winding up his first three-year term, is up first.

Today we sit down with Republican challenger Rob Lombardi, who we interviewed and photographed at his home on William Street.

On deck for Wednesday is Democratic incumbent Art Murphy. We’ll wrap up on Thursday with Republican Kim Senkeleski.
