A town square for an unsquare town

Standing for the vitality of Red Bank, its community, and the fun we have together.

CUTE GIRLS. LINGERIE. KISSES. HAPPY HOUR.

hourglass5b

If the above headline, or any two parts of it, pretty much describes your idea of heaven, you might want to make your way to downtown Red Bank Wednesday evening.

Sweetest Sin Boutique, the new lingerie store that’s already raised the temperature on White Street by a few degrees, will host a ‘Naughty or Nice Lingerie Fashion Show’ at at Ashes Cigar Bar on Broad Street.

We’re talking leggy models in nothing more than “holiday-themed” bras and panties — think red, think ermine — strutting down a runaway, and maybe even the staircase.

We’re also talking $1 “mistletoe kisses” available from “some cute girls — friends of ours —and maybe some of the models,” says boutique owner Angie Courtney.

And get this: admission is free.

The proceeds from the kiss sales, along with the cash generated by $1 tequila shots, will be donated to the Lunch Break soup kitchen.

Doors open at 6p. The first 50 people admitted will get a free drink and a gift bag from Sweetest Sin.

According to Courtney, the restaurant’s second floor, where the runway will be set up, holds about 150 people. But if attendance exceeds that, the models will make their way downstairs to strut for the spillover crowd, she says.

There will be free food; the bar is cash, but it’ll be happy hour until 11p.

And not one to miss an opportunity to do a little business, Courtney will be selling some of her store’s wares on-site, with gift-wrapping available.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
