Red Bank Police have arrested four suspects after a two-prong raid on the West Side Thursday, they announced today.
The busts, which culminated a two-month investigation done in conjunction with the State Police, resulted in the seizure of two caches of crack cocaine, marijuana and a pair of handguns, according to an announcement by Chief Steve McCarthy.

The Red Bank Police Department Anti-Crime Unit in conjunction with the New Jersey State Police conducted an approximately two month long narcotics investigation into the sale and distribution of controlled dangerous substances at multiple residences in the Borough of Red Bank. This investigation culminated in simultaneous court authorized searches of two residences; one on Montgomery Terrace and the other on West Sunset Ave on July 15, 2010.
As a result of the search in Montgomery Terrace a quantity of crack cocaine, and marijuana were recovered. Charged at that location were residents, Tammy Lane, age 35, and Demetrio Metrito age 20. Both were charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous (CDS) Substance-Crack Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with the Intent to Distribute within 500 Feet of Public Housing, Possession of a CDS: Marijuana, and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia. Hon. Himelman, JMC set bail for both subjects at $72,000 each and they were committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility.
As a result of the search on West Sunset Ave, quantities of crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription legend drugs were recovered as were two handguns. Brothers Devin and Daniel Davis, ages 25 and 29 respectively were arrested at their home on West Sunset Ave at the time of the search. Hon. Himelman, JMC set bail for both subjects at $277,500.00 each and they were committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility.
