A leaning utility pole that caused a brief shutdown of Broad Street traffic two months again appears to be atilt again.
Last time, as redbankgreen reported, a crew from JCP&L/First Energy installed a second pole, to which the leaner was cinched and partially uprighted.
But the original pole appears, to our eyes at least, to be leaning pretty far over the street again. It’s tied to the new pole with heavy rope.
“We’ll have to have someone take a look at it,” a spokeswoman for the utility company tells redbankgreen.
