The wetness continues Tuesday morning, though not with the steadiness of Monday’s rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s the forecast:

Today: Periods of rain, mainly before noon. High near 61. North wind 7 to 10 mph becoming southwest. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tonight: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 49. Southwest wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 65. West wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. West wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind around 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 70.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 69.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52.
