20111111-113238.jpgAmong those who gathered at the Veterans Monument at Monmouth Street and Drummond Place at 11 a.m. Friday to commemorate Veterans Day was Red Bank resident John Gillespie, who served in Laos and Cambodia during the Vietnam War. He came, he said, to remember “the people we lost. That’s why we’re here.”
