AUTUMN SHOWERS EXPECTED

You might want to get those leaves out to the curb while they’re still dry and fluffy, as we’ve got rain in the forecast by midweek, before sunshine returns on Thursday.

Here’s the outlook from the National Weather Service:

Today: A slight chance of showers after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 64. Southwest wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: Showers likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 64. West wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 53. Southwest wind at 6 mph becoming southeast. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Showers. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 61. Calm wind becoming north between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 51.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 59.
