M’TOWN COPS NAB PAIR FOR CAR BREAK-INS

call-in-the-authorities• On February 13, 2012 at approximately 2:25 am police responded to the area of Nautilus Drive in reference to a report of two subjects breaking into vehicles. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival. Officers spoke to a witness who provided them with a description of the suspect’s vehicle which was then broadcasted to other officers in the area. Sergeant Sean Sweeney located a vehicle fitting the description on Leonardville Road.

Sergeant Sweeney, Patrolmen Stephen Keller and Felipe Benedit conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Christopher Devine, age 19, from Garryford Drive in Middletown, NJ and Frank McQuade, age 19, from Veronica Place in Middletown, NJ, being charged with three counts of Burglary, three counts of Theft and Conspiracy after police recovered items stolen from multiple vehicles. McQuade was also charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School Zone after police located the Marijuana in his vehicle.

Devine and McQuade for released on their own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Adam Finck assisted in the investigation.

• Brent Stebbins, age 25, from central Place in Belford, NJ, arrested on February 15, 2012 by Corporal Gerald Weimer on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $1,625.00 bail.

• Justin Grover, age 19, from Washington Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on February 15, 2012 by Corporal James Keenan on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.

• John Marciniak, age 28, from Highlands Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on February 15, 2012 by Patrolman Michael Pintilie for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $1,000.00 bail.

• Ferencz Takacs, age 24, from Quincy Circle in Dayton, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski for Unlawful Possession of Methadrone, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obtaining Prescription Drugs without a Valid Prescription. He was released pending a court date.

• Jeron Redway, age 24, from Willow Drive in Ocean, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Albert Scott on Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $1,000.00 bail.

• George Garulle, age 43, from Sandy Hook Avenue in Belford, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and Patrolman John Mele of the Quality of Life Unit on Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Hillside, Old Bridge and Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $2,894.00 bail.

• Michael Dennis, age 24, from York Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and Patrolman John Mele of the Quality of Life Unit on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Red Bank Municipal Court. He was released on $265.00 bail.

• William Nash, age 25, from West Sylvania Avenue in Neptune City, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Corporal William Kennelly on Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Neptune and New Brunswick Municipal Court. He was released on $450.00 bail.

• Brian Miller, age 21, from Walnut Avenue in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Andrew Micalizzi for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on $10,000.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Elizabeth Fitzsimmons, age 20, from Matthews Street in Highlands, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Patrolman Ryan Riffert for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released pending a court date.

• Stephanie Vivian, age 43, from First Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on February 14, 2012 by Corporal Thomas Meckier on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

• Lisa Rosendo, age 20, from Montana Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 15, 2012 by Patrolman James Beirne for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.
