ACCIDENT SHUTS STRETCH OF RUMSON ROAD

An accident involving an overturned trailer forced the closure of Rumson Road between Buena Vista and Kemp avenues in Rumson at around 3:45 p.m Thursday.

Police Sergeant Robert Boyer said no one was injured, and no other vehicles were involved, when a trailer equipped with water tanks and loaded with bagged cement flipped at a bend in the road. The road shutdown was expected to last until about 5:30 p.m., he said. (Click to enlarge)
