ATTEMPTED BURGLAR FLEES AFTER BEING SEEN

Recent activity reports, unedited, as provided by the Little Silver Police Department.

call-in-the-authorities• June 11- Michael Zduniak, 24, of Howell, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Howell Municipal Court. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

• June 12- An employee of the Citgo gas station on Branch Ave. reported a Theft of Service after a motorist received gas and fled the station without paying. P.O. Michael Lahey and Sgt. Martin Scherzinger investigated.

• June 12- An employee of the Little Silver Family Pharmacy on Church St. reported a Shoplifting after a customer removed a bottle of perfume from the shelf and exited the store without paying for it. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

• June 12- A Theft occurred at Red Bank Regional High School after a student reported that her cell phone had been stolen. P.O. Peter Gibson investigated.

• June 14- Bennie Beavers, 48, of Middletown, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious vehicle complaint on Holly Tree Ln. and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

• June 15- A resident on Little Silver Point Rd. reported a Theft after noticing that an unknown subject removed a large flower pot from the front of the yard. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. investigated.

• June 17- A resident on Garden Rd. reported an Attempted Burglary to a residence after observing a subject break out a rear window to a home. The resident confronted the subject who fled the area on foot. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. and Sgt. Martin Scherzinger responded to the incident along with assistance from the Red Bank P.D., Shrewsbury P.D. and Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. Det. Gregory Oliva investigated.

• June 17- William Drucklieb, 50, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

• June 21- Kathleen West, 18, of Red Bank, NJ was arrested following a motor vehicle stop and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

• June 22- Holly Richardson, 30, of Shrewsbury, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for an active Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Red Bank Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

• June 22- A resident from Rumson Rd. reported Criminal Mischief to his home and vehicle after noticing damage caused by eggs being thrown at them. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

• June 22- A Little Silver Point Rd. resident reported Criminal Mischief to his mailbox after it was pulled out of the ground and thrown on the front lawn during the early morning hours. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

• June 24- A resident from Pirate’s Cove Rd. reported Criminal Mischief when they discovered that two decorative lights on their property closest to the road had been broken during the early morning hours. P.O. Michael Lahey investigated.

• June 27- Michael Dennis, 24, of Port Monmouth, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and several other motor vehicle violations. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

• June 27- Elyse Frieri, 19, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop and charged with Possession of Alcohol Underage and several other motor vehicle violations. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.
