Still have last-minute gifts to buy for the holidays? Look no further than the merchants of Red Bank, Little Silver, Fair Haven, Rumson and Shrewsbury.

There are so many great shops on the Green that it can be hard to know where to start, especially with the countdown to the holidays upon us. So redbankgreen has been scouring the streets and window-shopping for you to make life a easier for harried shoppers. Our latest excursion turned up the following items, priced from under $10 to $20,000 (gulp).

For example, check out “In My Tree,” above, a children’s book by Sara Gillingham and Lorena Siminovich at Kidegories in Shrewsbury. The book comes complete with its own-finger puppet for $8.99.

On the shelves at CoCo Pari in Red Bank is this rock-chic Maison Du Posh leather bag, a green python clutch with pewter knuckle rings and studs. Normally retailing for $995, it’s on sale for $497.

Looking for a big, comfy pillow friend? Check out the wide selection of Squishables at Distinctive Toys in Fair Haven. Margarent Spicer, the store owner, “They’re just these big, huge pillows that kids love – from college kids through babies.” They sell for $39.99 each.

For the lacrosse lover (or any sports fan) this keychain at the Woman’s Exchange in Little Silver will be a great hit. According to assistant manager Elaine Boaman, the keychain is handmade in northern New Jersey and sell for just $10.

At Byford & Mills in Little Silver, these Halcyon Days bangles come all the way from England. “They’re absolutely beautiful,” says store manager Susan Germain, and sure to impress your special someone. They sell for $160.

Or how about this little “Speedy” Luis Vuitton purse for your favorite fashion-forward gal? It typically retails for $765, but the Couture Exchange in Shrewsbury has it “pre-loved” for $499.

For the girl who loves outdoor adventures, The Spot Shop in Shrewsbury sells these Sorel Joan of Arctic boots for $150. They feature waterproof leather and suede to ensure that feet stay dry and comfortable in any winter conditions.

At the Store from River Road in Shrewsbury, this necklace, handmade out of recycled materials right here in New Jersey, would please any lady in your life. Eileen Cuje, the store manager, says it’s a great pick “if you’re looking for something more personal.” It sells for $60.

For the little princess of the house, check out this Valco Baby doll stroller at Kidegories in Shrewsbury for $149. Your little girl will enjoy pushing her baby doll around just like mom.

It features a one-and-a-half carat diamond center, with three-quarter-carat stones on either side. The setting is platinum, but also comes in yellow gold, white gold or silver.

For something a bit less pricey, Little Silver Family Pharmacy has these sparkling red Bag Lady Mudpie hand warmers for $19.99. They’re perfect for a girl on the go as they leave fingers exposed for full use of hands.

At the Woman’s Exchange in Little Silver, these chart clocks offer a nautical view of our area for $84. They’re handmade by Grace Healy from Maine, according to assistant manager Elaine Boaman.

At Goldtinker in Rumson, these blue topaz earrings will impress any lady. They are 14-carat yellow gold and feature pillow cut blue topaz, with .05 carat of diamonds up the ear wire for $690.

And for those shoppers not tied to the calendar, try these Danish drinking glasses with removable rubber base sleeves, in green or black – a set of four for just $13.75 at the Danish Café in the Galleria, Bridge Avenue, Red Bank. But you’ll have to wait until January 12, when cafe owners Lone and Claudi Kofod return from vacation – guess where.
