Welcome to Window Shopping the Green, a new regular feature for redbankgreen.

The idea here is simply to call out interesting items that catch our eye as we wander the stores of the Green.

We kick off with an ending, though. Fair Haven’s Nature’s Emporium will close its doors March 2 after 40 years of business, but not before hosting a blowout sale.

Owner Priscilla ‘Perk’ Bahr says she spent her entire retail career hand-selecting the items that she sold, so saying goodbye has been a “bittersweet situation.”

A walk through the cluttered but charming River Road shop led to some eccentric finds, among them these $8 movie film earrings, featuring Hollywood icons James Dean and Marilyn Monroe.

Cinema buffs and die-hard fans are sure get a kick out them – and nothing says devotion like having one’s favorite stars dangling from one’s earlobes.
