• Also in May, The College of New Jersey  saw Middletown residents Meghan Busch (Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies), Allison Roberts (Master of Education in Instruction) and Ashley Sogluizzo (Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education Teaching) among the nearly 2,000 students taking part in the 2013 Commencement Ceremony on campus.

• James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA welcomed the class of 2017 to campus this month, with the incoming freshman class featuring two students from Middletown — Joseph Passariello, who plans to major in accounting, and Kassie Gesuelli, who plans to major in marketing.
