A Red Bank man was transported to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing West Front Street Thursday evening, police Chief Darren McConnell tells redbankgreen.
Fiacro Castro, 54, of St. Mary’s Place, was struck at the corner of Bridge Avenue at about 7 p.m., said McConnell. He was taken by ambulance to Riverview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Mariana Tropeano, 47, of North Brunswick, hit Castro as she made a turn onto West Front from Bridge Avenue, McConnell said.
No summons was immediately issued, he said. Patrolwoman Heather Pubylski is investigating.
