Press release from Red Bank Regional High School
The nationwide education review website Niche recently released its national and state “Best School Districts” ratings, and ranked Red Bank Regional High School as number 31 in New Jersey, out of a total of 561 school districts — a rating that places RBR within the top 5 percent of the state’s districts.
The site also ranked RBR the third best school district in Monmouth County, behind Rumson-Fair Haven Regional (21) and Holmdel (30). Red Bank Regional received an overall school district grade of A+.
Niche was founded in 2002 as College Prowler by a Carnegie Mellon Business major as a statistical on-line company for ranking colleges. It later added the rankings of k- 12 school, cities and neighborhoods to its site. The overall grade results from Niche’s comprehensive assessment of the total experience of the district use data sourced from various government and public data sources, Niche’s own proprietary data, and opinion-based survey responses of current students, recent alumni and parents.
Upon the release of the Niche results, RBR’s Interim Superintendent Thomas Pagano congratulated the RBR staff stating, “This piece is a testament to all of you who work here, no matter your job title or responsibilities, for it is the meshing of all the parts that make up the success and reputation that Red Bank Regional High School enjoys.”
