Anchorage Beach in Sea Bright beckoned some early heat-beaters Monday morning, while on Rumson Road in Rumson, a hedge-trimmer had his work cut out for him.

With daytime temperatures in the low 80s, it’s looking to be a hot, partly-cloudy-to-rainy couple of days before sunshine returns later in the week, according to the National Weather Service forecast.  (Photos by John T. Ward. Click to enlarge)
