RED BANK: CRIMES AND ARRESTS

Crime Reports

Theft of a pocketbook occurring on 5-21-16. The item was stolen in the area of Shrewsbury Ave, and West Bergen Pl. the victim reported that the bag contained a small purse that contained numerous credit cards and $50.00 in currency.

Theft of three cushions from a front porch. The victim reported that the cushions were taken between May 20, and May 21.The homeowner resides on North Bridge Ave, The cushions were described as being red and gold in color and valued at approximately $144.00.

Theft of a unicycle. The victim reports that between 5-20-16 and 5-21-16 her unicycle was taken from her driveway in the area of Worthley St. The unicycle was described as being silver in color with a black seat, and valued at approximately $100.00.

Theft from a motor vehicle. The victim reported that while his vehicle was parked in the area of E. Sunset Ave on Private Property. Subject(s) entered his vehicle and removed a car radio valued at approximately $1,700.00. The radio was described as being an Alpine brand touch screen model INE940. The incident occurred between 1-2-16 and 5-26-16.

Theft of a Camera. The victim reported that on 5-28-16, his personal camera was removed while at a function on Bodman Pl. The camera was valued at $6,000.00 and described as being a Nikon D3S 70-200MM.

Criminal Mischief Damage to a business front door frame located in the area of Mechanic St. The victim reported that the damages occurred sometime after May 18, 2016. The damages were minimal and no entry was gained.

Criminal Mischief to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that on May, 28, 2016, while his vehicle was parked in the area of South Pearl St, someone had attempted to gain entry, by damaging the driver’s side window. No entry was gained and damages were estimated to be approximately $250.00.

Criminal Mischief: Damages to a residential front door in the area of South St. The victim reported that her fiberglass front door had been damaged on May 20, 2016. No entry was gained and damages were valued at $3,200.00.

ARRESTS

John W. Vanderweerd, age 46 of Keansburg was arrested on May 20, 2016 in the area of Hwy 35 for DWI by Ptl. Stanley Balmer.

Fiona Dugan, age 30 of Asbury Park was arrested on 5-20-16 in the area of Bridge Ave, for Contempt Of Court by Officer Darren McConnell.

Ide Kanata, age 29 of Red Bank was arrested on May 21, 2016 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave for Contempt Of Court by Officer Darren McConnell.

David Thompson, age 57 of Neptune was arrested on May 21,2016 in the area of Leighton Ave, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Benjamin Springer.

Travis Moore, age 29 of South Boston N.J. was arrested on May 22, 2016 in the area of Maple Ave, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Kristin Altimari.

Jascha I. Rickards, age 24 of Tinton Falls was arrested on May 22, 2016 in the area of Maple Ave for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Stanley Balmer

Kevin L. Cassaro, age 26 of Beachwood was arrested on May 22, 2016 in the area of East Front St, for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Milton Gray IV.

Tommy E. Parrish, age 66 of Matawan was arrested on May 23, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Shane Dengel.

Buff Anderson, age 21 of Red Bank was arrested on 5-24-16 in the area of W. Front St, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Shane Dengel.

Chelsea Ginsburg, age 24 of Somerset was arrested on May 26, 2016 in the area of Leighton Ave, for Contempt Of Court by Officer Darren McConnell.

Shawn A. Trapp, age 29 of Red Bank was arrested on May 27, 2016 in the area of Tilton Ave. for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Cevin Albert.

John Bernard, age 51 of Asbury Park was arrested on May 27, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St, for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Cevin Albert.

Alexis A. Johnson, age 20 of Red Bank was arrested on May 27,2016 in the area of Newman Springs Rd, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Thomas Doremus.

Travis Huston, age 19 of Red Bank was arrested on May 28, 2016 in the area of Mechanic St, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Cevin Albert.

Christopher J. Decio, age 23 of Glassboro was arrested on May 28, 2016 in the area of East Bergen Pl, for Possession of drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

Matthew Colvin, age 20 Of Lamar AZ was arrested on May 30, 2016 in the area of Riverside Ave, for Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Kristin Altimari.

Navor Gonzalez-Leyva, age 26, Of Lakewood was arrested on May 31, 2016 in the area of Bank St. for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest by Ptl. Milton Gray IV.

Alexander J. Williams, age 19, of Atlantic Highlands was arrested on may, 31, 2016 in the area of Wharf Ave, for Possession of CDS by Ptl.Michael Baron.

Valentin Tecuanhuehue-Ortega, age 41 of Red Bank was arrested on June 1, 2016 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave. for Obstructing the Administration of Law. By Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

Megan McCaffrey, age 49 of Red Bank was arrested on June1, 2016 in the area of Broad St. for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Tanner Shea.

McCormick D. Williams, age 44 of Red Bank was arrested on June 1, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St, for Contempt of Court by Ptl. Cevin Albert.

Jaime Diaz-Colotl, age 41 of Red Bank was arrested on June 2, 2016 in the area of W. Front St, for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

Michael R. Berner, age 21 of Tinton Falls was arrested on June 2, 2016 in the area of Newman Springs Rd, for Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

Chad Pennington , age 34 of Red Bank was arrested on June 3, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St for Contempt Of Court by Sgt. Heather Pubylski.

Jefferson Vargas-Tutiven, age 23 of Lakewood was arrested on June 4, 2016 in the area of Newman Springs Rd, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Sean Hauschlidt.

Vincent J. Giovinazzo, age 42 of Red Bank was arrested on June 4, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St. for Simple Assault by Ptl. David Smith. [UPDATE January 27, 2017: This charge was dismissed and the arrest was expunged from court records by order of Superior Court Judge Honora O’Brien Kilgallen on December 1, 2016.]

Kellen J. Polito, age 30 of Howell was arrested on June 5, 2016 in the area of Broad St. for DWI by Officer Darren McConnell.

Brandon J. Weltman, age 38 of Red Bank was arrested on June 5, 2016 in the area of Linden Pl, for Contempt Of Court by Ptl. Sean Hauschlidt.

Rolando Chimello-Peregrina, age 27 of Red Bank was arrested on June 5, 2016 in the area of Monmouth St, for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Thomas Doremus.

Talek S. Lane, age 22 of Red Bank was arrested on June, 6,2016 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave, for Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute by Ptl. Garrett Falco Jr.
