Incumbent Republicans sailed to victory in races for four seats on the Shrewsbury Borough Council Tuesday — two for full terms, and two for one-year unexpired terms, according to results posted only by the Monmouth County Clerk.
For a full term (two seats)
Deidre derAsadourian (R) incumbent
1,151 votes, 21.19 percent of the votes cast
Peter J Meyer (R) incumbent, council president
1,137, 28.84%
John M. Collins (D)
823, 20.87%
Donald Sena (D)
824, 20.90%
For a one-year unexpired term (two seats)
Thomas Moran (R) incumbent
1,173, 29.79%
Erik Anderson (R) incumbent
1,241, 31.51%
Shane Berkelaar (D)
769, 19.53%
Patrick DiBellow (D)
749, 19.02%
