Wall Street in Red Bank was closed Thursday morning due to a water leak. We heard it was iced over so we grabbed our skates, but looks like there’s no silver lining to be had with this infrastructure glitch. The Borough sent out the following alert:
Urgent Public Alert: Water Leak on Wall Street
Attention Red Bank residents and businesses:
Please be advised a water leak has been identified on Wall Street. Public Works crews have salted the area due to icy conditions to ensure immediate safety. Service crew has been notified and is en route to address the issue.
Wall Street is now closed to traffic to allow for safe repairs. Residents and businesses on Wall Street are being directly notified.
We currently do not have an estimated timeline for repairs but will provide updates as soon as they are available. Please avoid the area and exercise caution if you must travel nearby.
