Do you know where in Red Bank the above photo was taken?

Send your answer (or best guess) to [email protected] by noon, Thursday, May. We’ll reveal the location the next day.

Subscribers to redbankgreen‘s Red Bank Blast newsletter get the “Where” photo, along with the latest headlines, sent to their inboxes every week.

Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”

Last week’s photo was a close up of the wooden structure surrounding a picnic table parklet in the White Street Parking lot.

The parklet was built in 2022 funded by a $5,000 AARP Community Challenge Grant. that was also used to create a series of sidewalk markers with QR codes that take visitors to a web site with information and walking tour suggestions.

Where respondent Cathy Tobin complimented the “cute paint job” but also remarked that she’s never seen anyone sitting at the picnic table there. Chuck Stern knew it because, he said, “redbankgeen did a story on it!”

Thanks to those who wrote in:   Yvonne MacDonald, Judy and Bill Fraser, Cathy Tobin, The Colmorgen Kids, Chuck Stern, Marianne White and Robert Mckay.

I hope I got everyone. Please email or text me immediately if we missed you at [email protected] or 848-331-8331. Your sharp eyes and hustle should be properly rewarded.
