What to my wondering eyes?
Kids on Herbert Street may have been asking themselves that question when a Red Bank native suddenly appeared in this old neighborhood with a trunkful of presents Christmas morning.
Dave Adams told us the story like this:
“Each year my church (For His Praise Ministries in Howell) collects gifts to give to the families who are less fortunate. Local businesses and residents donate these gifts for us to give. This year we had a more than anticipated.
So my wife and I decided to distribute them to the west side of Red Bank where I grew up, on Locust Avenue.”
They were able to give all the gifts out to kids in a jiffy.
