RED BANK GIFT GUIDE: HOLIDAY EXPRESS COFFEE

By BRIAN DONOHUE

Uh oh. Just remembered another person that should have been on your Christmas list? Got an email from an online retailer that your gift for Aunt Martha is on back order and not coming in time for the holiday? redbankgreen is here to help with our seasonal feature highlighting gift suggestions from Red Bank shops and businesses.

We find ’em the old-fashioned way: walking into local shops searching for stuff that’s quintessentially Red Bank or just plain unique and fun to give or get. Here’s today’s find – and click here if you want to see the previous gift ideas.
What: Holiday Express blend coffee (roasted just last week). A special blend of coffee beans with ten percent of sales proceeds going to Holiday Express, the local nonprofit that delivers live music and holiday celebrations to “neurodivergent individuals, people experiencing homelessness, and others in vulnerable situations  who are often forgotten or alone during the holiday season.”

Of course, there’s also a wide variety of other blends, coffee-making supplies and shop gear on sale at this cozy local roaster as well.

Where: Coffee Corral, 177 Drs. James Parker Boulevard (corner of Shrewsbury Avenue)

Why? Because it’s almost Christmas and you need a quick gift, people love to get good coffee; you’re supporting a local business and a local charity, whose work, if you’ve even witnessed it, will put a smile on a face and lump in your throat for sure. Oh, and the staff of Coffee Corral are super friendly so you’ll leave even happier.

How much? Holiday Express blend is $22 per pound. Other blends vary in price.
