Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was the corner the cancer care center at the Riverview Medical Center’s Jane H. Booker Pavillion. The hospital recently cut the ribbon on a newly expanded outpatient oncology unit inside the building. Where featured a more pulled back roofline shot of this area about two years ago, but I couldn’t resist this tighter stark contrast between the lines of the roof and the deep blue sky.
I wasn’t sure many people would get this, but the Where crew came through.
Still, though, we had some wonderfully wide swings and misses on this one.
One person guessed it was the The Rail or the Denholtz headquarters near the train station; another guessed it was the office building on Drs. James Parker Boulevard.
Another person guessed it was “the roof of the old OceanFirst Bank before they knocked it down and are building the current monstrosity.”
This sent us scurrying to the OceanFirst building on West Front Street to see if it had been torn down, but the work there is just a new front plaza.
F Hendrickson recalled a career spent working at Riverview and said they signed a steel beam that was part of this section of the hospital when it was built.
