RED BANK: BUSY SUNDAY ON TAP WITH STREET FAIR, GRAFFITI FEST

UPDATE 5 PM SATURDAY: The street fair has been cancelled due to weather, according to a Red Bank Police Department Facebook post. The Graffiti Jam rescheduled to Sunday has now also been cancelled, according to the Borough’s social media posts.

The weekend has arrived and the forecast calls for a soggy Saturday and a doubly-bustling Sunday in Red Bank, partially because of the rain.

Sunday is an annual Street and Craft Fair organized by streetfairs.org on Monmouth and Broad Streets from 11 am to 5 pm.

The organization seems to do its best to keep local media out of its promotions, so we can only go by what they post to their website.
It’s always packed with people looking for their first funnel cake or shish kebab of the season.

The first annual Graffiti Fest (postponed from Saturday due to the forecast) kicks off noon Sunday at Riverside Gardens Park.

The event, sponsored by the Borough of Red Bank will feature live artist graffiti demos, music and kids art activities. (See flyer above).

Here’s the forecast.
