New stormwater sewer lines. Turns out that’s what the closure of Monmouth Street this week is for, according to members of the crew digging up the street. The road is slated to remain closed between West Street and Pearl Street from 8 am to 4 pm through Friday. If you need to access businesses like Fins and Feathers along that stretch, crews were allowing traffic to enter from the east on Monday.
