Last week, we showed four views of the same object. Of the half-dozen readers who wrote in, all recognized it as the interior view of a roof structure. But not the same structure.
Margery Cohen tentatively ventured that it was from the charming and historic Little Silver train station.
Tom Brenner and Jean and Meg Kelly thought it was from Fair Haven’s Church of the Nativity. “Not quite the Sistine Chapel, but certainly interesting,” Jean and Meg wrote.
Tom, Meg and Jean had the right town, but the wrong location. As Matt Villa, Ed Davis and Mayor Mike Halfacre knew, it’s the roof of the gazebo on the municipal dock on the Navesink River at the north end of Fair Haven Road.
Thanks to all who wrote in.
