FAIR HAVEN: The First Floors House Tour, put on by the PTA, is both a fundraiser for the Fair Haven School District, as well as a collection for Hurricane Sandy donations by Sandy Family Match. Eight Haven homes will be open to tours between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and will each feature cuisine samplings from local eateries. Tickets ($50) will be available for purchase at 248 Kemp Avenue and 85 Grange Avenue. No children allowed.
RED BANK: Free yoga session at the Red Bank Public Library at 1 p.m. by Amy Richardson. No registration required, bring your own mat. 84 West Front Street.
RED BANK: Two River Theater hosts a preview performance of A Wind in the Willows Christmas at 7 p.m. and features Grammy-winning Nashville songsmith (and ex-NFL player) Mike Reid in this new take on the adventures of Mr. Toad, Badger, Mole and company. LITTLE SILVER: The Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Red Bank Regional High School presents the second of three holiday showcases spotlighting the work of RBR majors in art, drama, creative writing, instrumental music, piano, photography and vocal majors with performances by the Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Concert Bank, Harp Ensemble and String Ensemble. RED BANK: Christian music artist Nancy Scharff of Middletown brings her successful series of Christmas concerts to the Count Basie Theater at 7:30 p.m. Christmas: When Love Was Born is a collection of sacred classics and Scharff originals, performed with the help of an Ecumenical Choir, Childrens Chorus, all-star Gospel Choir and other special guests. Tickets ($15-25) benefit local charity Love INC. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items for needy families in the area. 99 Monmouth Street.

MIDDLETOWN: The American Association of University Women hosts a used book sale at 9 a.m. which continues every Saturday (except holidays), in the basement of the Old First Church. Thousands of bestsellers, childrens books, paperbacks, DVDs and more can be found at bargain prices. 69 Kings Highway.
RUMSON: The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Key Club is partnering with the PTSA to host a Sandy Relief 3K Run/Walk Race. Runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. A minimum donation of $10 is required for participation, and all proceeds will directly benefit local residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Sign-ups will be held at the outdoor track from 9 to 10 a.m. The race begins at 10:30 a.m. 74 Ridge Road.
RED BANK: Holiday Harmonies takes to the streets of downtown Red Bank every Saturday afternoon at 12 for three hours throughout the shopping season to bring tunes ranging from traditional caroling to rock, blues, and folk to those out trying to find the perfect gift.
RED BANK: Rest those tired shopping feet with a free classic horse and carriage ride through downtown Red Bank. Rides run from 1 to 5 p.m. from two locations: 11 Bridge Avenue (across from The Galleria) and 26 Broad Street (in front of Murphy Style Grill).
RED BANK: Kids are invited to get artsy-smartsy in the Avice Noblett Children’s Room at the Red Bank Public Library as they learn about American artist Norman Rockwell and make their own Saturday Evening Post covers with a holiday theme in his style. This is a free event for children ages 5 and older and starts at 2 p.m. 84 West Front Street.
RED BANK: Red Bank’s Monmouth Conservatory of Music hosts guest artist 15-year-old Michael Davidman at 4 p.m., with the pianist performing works by Beethoven, Scarlatti, Liszt, Scriabin and Granados. RED BANK: The Tower Hill Choir presents A Spiritual Christmas at First Presbyterian Church for a free concert at 7 p.m. of traditional and contemporary Christmas Spirituals, with arrangements that span styles from classic to calypso. Admission is free. 255 Harding Road.
RED BANK: The Nebraska Theater Caravan rolls into the Basie for an 8 p.m. performance of Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. With a large cast, full orchestra, detailed costumes and set plus celebrated ghostly special effects, the show has added its own flairs such as period hymns and songs of the season that include ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,’ ‘Here We Come A-Wassailing’ and ‘Away in a Manger.’ Tickets range from $19.50 to $49.50. 99 Monmouth Street.
TINTON FALLS: The Shrewsbury Chorale presents its annual Christmas concert at Luther Memorial Evangelical Church at 8 p.m. Conducted by Anthony LaGruth, the Chorale will perform Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. Admission is free. 818 Tinton Avenue.
