Five seems to be the key number for the 2013 Jersey Shore Men’s Conference. For five years, First Baptist Church of Red Bank has sponsored the annual event — and this year the event is on Saturday October 5, beginning at 8:30 am inside the church on 84 Maple Avenue. Past conferences have offered top quality speakers, exchanging thoughts with men about where they are in life, and where they want to be.
Dr. Scott Hoffman, former CEO of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association — and now based in Ashville, NC, where he works with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association — returns for a discussion on the topic of “Hope for Men.” This is a multi-dimensional, age spanning, non-denominational gathering, and he will be supported by five breakout leaders, including Pastor Lyddale Akins ( Triumphant Life Church), Pastor Paul Brown (First Pentecostal Church), Pastor Joe Gratzel (First Baptist Church of Manasquan), Pastor Mike Miller (New Monmouth Baptist Church), and Pastor Jason Tucker (First Presbyterian Church of Red Bank). Each will have thoughts fine tuned into where we are in our lives.
