Bio: Chris Havens is a dedicated and experienced real estate professional with a career spanning over 30 years. His expertise in the industry is comprehensive, encompassing the sale of apartments in New York City, development of affordable housing in Brooklyn, and a significant role in expanding creative office, artist, and maker spaces throughout the borough.

Chris resides on the West Side of Red Bank with his wife, Mary, and son, Kevin. They are an integral part of their community, actively participating in various local activities. The family are members of the YMCA, enjoy frequenting the shops and restaurants downtown, and are regular attendees at local art and music events. Additionally, they cherish spending time in the region’s parks and beaches, embracing the natural beauty of their area.

Holding a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College/CUNY and a Bachelor’s degree from Macalester College, Chris’s academic background complements his professional experience. His commitment to his community extends beyond real estate; he and Mary are supporting members of several local institutions, including the Count Basie Theater, The T. Thomas Fortune House, Two Rivers Theater, and Lunch Break. They are also active in the local chapter of the NAACP, demonstrating their dedication to social and community causes.

Chris’s deep-rooted understanding of urban development, coupled with his personal commitment to his community, positions him as a unique and insightful real estate professional. His blend of professional acumen and community engagement makes him a trusted advisor for homeowners and a valued member of his community.
