Red Bank is about to become home to New Jersey’s first free-medication drugstore, its founder told redbankgreen this week.
Pharmacist Ritesh Shah said he plans to open the no-charge dispensary next month in memory of his sister, who died from complications of COVID-19.
Three towns on the Greater Red Bank Green plan to participate in “National PrescriptionDrug Take-Back Day” for safe disposal of unused and expired medications Saturday.
The police departments in Little Silver, Red Bank and Rumson will accept the products from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information can be found on the Drug Enforcement Agency’s website. (Click to enlarge)
