According to the National Weather Service, several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will impact the region into the evening. Damaging winds are possible.

Doomy clouds loomed over Fair Haven and Red Bank Friday afternoon as (Click to enlarge) weather forecasts called for possible thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday, followed by sunshine on Sunday.

It’s going to be nasty hot in the Red Bank area today, the National Weather Service says.
There’s also a slight chance of thunderstorms, the agency
forecasts. More likely, though, are “damaging” wind gusts.
