Authorities still don’t know the identity of the man killed by a train on the New Jersey Transit trestle over the Navesink River Monday and are reaching out to the public for hep, the Star-Ledger reports today.
The victim apparently stepped in front of a northbound train as it left Red Bank around 7a, according to a spokesman for New Jersey Transit.
From the article:
The man was described as being white and possibly Hispanic. He was in his mid-20s and was approximately 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. He had brown hair, blue or hazel eyes and a thin beard along his jaw.
He was wearing blue Aeropostale jeans, a camouflage hooded zippered sweatshirt, black Diesel sneakers and dark argyle socks.
