Fireworks illuminated the Monmouth Boat Club and the Navesink River in Red Bank last night. (Click on images to enlarge)

The occasion: a fundraiser for the annual KaBoom Fireworks, which needs to raise at least $175,000 to cover the cost of the July 3 spectacular.

The event featured mojitos by Teak…

… a little sunset over the Navesink…

… frozen desserts by Marcia of Blackwell’s Organic…

… an auction by former Mayor Ed McKenna…
