A frozen turkey ready for pickup near boxes packed with soup, stuffing, canned fruit, vegetables and pies at the Salvation Army facility on Newman Springs Road yesterday.
The Red Bank Corps of the Salvation Army gave out frozen turkeys and the fixings for complete Thanksgiving suppers to 265 families Tuesday.

Capt. Norma Moore said each boxful of food would feed four to six people.
The Salvation Army will repeat the effort on December 19, with the addition of Christmas toys to the food giveaway.
