LITTLE SILVER: THEFTS REPORTED AT RBR

call-in-the-authorities• September 2– A resident on Little Silver Point Rd. reported a Burglary/Theft after discovering that a rear door had been forced in and jewelry had been taken. P.O. Andrew Smith, P.O. Peter Gibson and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 3– A business on Sycamore Ave. reported Criminal Mischief after discovering that the side of the building had been spray painted. P.O. Paul Halpin investigated.

• September 7– A student at Red Bank Regional High School reported a Theft after noticing that his watch had been stolen from his gym locker while attending football practice. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

• September 8– Michele Maybaum, 41, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested after she turned herself in for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court. P.O. Paul Halpin made the arrest.

• September 10– A student at Red Bank Regional High School reported a Theft after noticing that his cell phone had been stolen from his gym locker while playing in a football game. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

• September 10– Henri Aymonier, 58, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, was arrested after he turned himself in for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court. P.O. Peter Giblin made the arrest.

• September 10– A resident from Prospect Ave. reported Theft of Services after paying a contractor to complete masonry work. The contractor never came back nor finished the work. P.O. Peter Giblin and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 12– A resident from Silverwhite Rd. reported a Fraud after receiving a letter in the mail stating that he owed the State of California taxes incurred while he was employed there. The resident never was employed in the State of California. Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 14– An Assault/Harassment was reported between two students at the Red Bank Regional High School. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

• September 15– A juvenile male, 16, of Shrewsbury, NJ, was arrested for Possession of Alcohol Underage following a suspicious person complaint in the area of Woodland St. Sgt. Martin Scherzinger made the arrest.

• September 16– Caleb Ramos, 30, of Keansburg, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the West Long Branch Municipal Court. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

• September 16– A resident from Queens Drive South reported a Theft of a bicycle that was left un-attended near the gazebo at the Markham Place School. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

• September 18– A business owner on Prospect Ave. reported Theft/Criminal Mischief after noticing damage to a door knob inside one of the offices. Shortly after replacing the knob, it was stolen. P.O. Paul Halpin investigated.

• September 18– A resident on Crest Dr. reported Terroristic Threats/Harassment after receiving a threatening phone call from a known subject. P.O. Paul Halpin investigated.

• September 20– A resident from Queens Dr. reported Credit Card Fraud after an unknown subject used his credit card information to make an unauthorized purchase. P.O. Amanda Arnold and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 20– Students at Red Bank Regional High School reported Harassment after receiving unwelcome comments while using a social networking website. P.O. Andrew Smith investigated.

• September 21– Avery Carroll, 36, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested for Eluding Police and numerous other motor vehicle violations after fleeing from police on a motorcycle. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

• September 21– A juvenile male, 15, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams following an incident at the Red Bank Regional High School. P.O. Peter Gibson made the arrest.

• September 21– Roy Zitzman, 57, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested for Terroristic Threats following a dispute. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

September 22– Two residences on Rustic Ter. reported Burglary/Theft after discovering that an unknown subject entered their unlocked vehicles and stole miscellaneous items. Both vehicles were entered during the evening hours. P.O. Paul Halpin and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 22– Caine Griffith, 28, of Farmingdale, NJ, was arrested after he turned himself in for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Ocean Township Municipal Court. P.O. Joesph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

• September 23– An employee from the CVS Pharmacy reported Shoplifting after an unknown subject exited the store without paying for a large quantity of merchandise. The subject got into a vehicle and left the area prior to police arrival. P.O. Eric Van Schaack and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 24– A student at Red Bank Regional High School reported a Theft after discovering that her cell phone had been stolen during school. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

• September 25– Hassan Matthews, 23, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a traffic stop for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

• September 26– A resident from Azalea Ct. reported a Burglary/Theft after noticing something suspicious at his neighbor’s home knowing they were away. An unknown subject gained entry to the residence and stole several pieces of jewelry. P.O. Paul Halpin and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

• September 27– Joseph Major, 21, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested after he turned himself in for having active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Oceanport and Little Silver Municipal Courts. Sgt. Martin Scherzinger made the arrest.

• September 28– Danielle Montalvo, 28, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a traffic stop for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams and an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

• September 28– A resident from Eastview Ave. reported Harassment after receiving suspicious phone calls during the evening hours. Sgt. Kevin Halpin investigated.

• September 30– Shaneale Brown, 28, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a traffic stop for Hindering Apprehension and active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Ocean Township, Tinton Falls and West Long Branch Municipal Courts. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.
