LITTLE SILVER: BUSTED PIPE CLOSES STORE

A busted sprinkler system supply line poured water into the produce section of the Little Silver A&P supermarket shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, forcing an evacuation of the store, said Fire Chief Andrew Smith. Signs posted on the doors indicate hopes for a mid-afternoon reopening Tuesday.

The store was briefly closed by a partial roof collapse after a snowfall in December, 2011. (Click to enlarge)
