What’s for lunch? Gee, who can even think of food today?

But hey, we gotta eat, right? Even after a getting a bellyful on Thanksgiving.

So here’s a lunch that will tickle the tastebuds without dropping another anvil into the stomach: the Caprese panini at Tavolo Pronto, in Fair Haven.

Patti Balderas, who owns the casual River Road eatery with husband Arturo, serves up this mix of tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil lightly grilled in a crunchy roll. Dashes of olive oil and balsamic vinegar make it lively.

A nice, light sandwich for $8.25.
