Senior Thomas Ferrick of Middletown has been named to the Provost’s List at Hofstra University, an achievement for which the Exercise Science major met the eligibility requirement of a 4.0 grade point average.
The West Hempstead, NY campus also named sophomore Laura Bellini to the Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester. The Political Science major became one of more than 2,000 high-achieving students to meet the 3.4 GPA requirement.
Other township natives to make Dean’s List at their respective schools include Jonathan Harmon, a Social Work major at Castleton College in Castleton, VT. Junior Colleen O’ Leary (Providence College in Providence, RI) and fourth-year Biology major Francis Matuszak (St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, NY) were also honored for their academic achievement.
At James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, no less than five Middletowners made Dean’s List for fall 2013 — Meghan Calabro (sophomore majoring in Health Sciences), Gina Franciosi (sophomore majoring in Comm Sciences and Disorders), Kassie Gesuelli (freshman majoring in Marketing), Alexandra Heidt (sophomore majoring in Health Sciences), and Jaclyn Lino (senior majoring in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies).
